Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analysis, tools and dashboards to highlight in-game behaviors that drive revenue, engagement and retention.
Model and predict player behavior using quantitative methods, including choice modeling, time series analysis, Bayesian statistics, and cluster analysis.
Communicate analysis results to team and stakeholders using data visualizations and presentations
Conduct in-depth game metrics analysis to support both short-term and long-term product direction decisions
Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
Communicate infrastructure changes to the team and ensure that these changes are successfully adopted
Develop actionable recommendations and work with PMs to translate the recommendations into a roadmap to dramatically improve the core performance of the game.
Maintain and develop a culture of honesty, trust, and collaboration through data.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience working with queries of large complex datasets using SQL in relational databases
High proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Excel or similar
Experience with statistical inference and analytical best practices (A / B testing, ANOVA, regression, decision trees, etc.)
Ability to work both in individual mode with minimal control, and in a team
Ability to communicate analysis results, explain complex ideas and hypotheses to different types of audience, including non-technical colleagues
A deep interest in understanding, predicting player behavior and choices through the development and testing of quantitative models
Proficiency in English at the Intermediate level and above for communication with the English-speaking part of the team

Skills considered as a good plus

1+ year of experience in game / mobile games analytics or daily life applications, including experience in predictive model building
Having an education in mathematics, computer science or economics
Experience with Python: developing scripting solutions to automate repetitive processes and data analysis using pandas libraries and queries
Experience with business intelligence platforms and data warehouses
Proven successful track record in a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities and timelines
General understanding of OOP concepts and methodology
A real passion for mobile gaming
