The team is comprised of game industry veterans and lead members from the God of War franchise.

Responsibilities

Work with the Creative Director create level layouts, scripted gameplay scenarios and design puzzles that follow the game’s vision
Own levels by taking them from concept to final shipped production levels
Accept feedback from the team while being self-critical of your own design
Maintain and contribute to best practices, design guidelines, and global metrics

Requirements

3+ years working as a level designer and having shipped at least one game
Strong scripting abilities through code or visual scripting
Firm grasp of Unreal and Blueprints
Expert in gray boxing using Maya or equivalent 3D modeling package
Fundamental understanding of the game development production pipeline
A knack for fun and creative gameplay
Ability to quickly prototype new gameplay mechanics and experiences
Passion for video games and a hardcore gamer at heart
Able to sell game design concepts and ideas
Hacker Mindset – Creative problem solver
Deep understanding of game design and player motivations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work within a schedule
Excellent time management skills

Skills considered as a good plus

BS Degree in Computer Science or Game Design
