Responsibilities
Managing the localization success of the product teams assigned to you for all their international launches
Accountability for all localization deliverables from the onset
Interfacing directly with the assigned stakeholders and project manage:
Translation intake, timelines, updating requesters on the status of each deliverable, coordinating quality assurance pre- or post launch in collaboration with the Language Managers and the Translated team
Submitting requests from the client to us and managing the relationship between the client and Translated internal project management team for each deliverable
Localizability feedback: Is the content translatable and relevant for all markets for the launch that you are localizing?
Leveraging the network of Regional Language Managers to get feedback
Attending all meetings with the product team that you support and represent Localization; participating and contributing to the launch-specific Slack channels
Attending daily Localization Launches stand-ups and reporting on your portfolio of projects with regards to upcoming plans and status of the current deliverables
Being knowledgeable of the Client Localization team’s SLAs and services so as to support, educate and advise the stakeholders (onboarding training provided) on what’s best to support their international launches
Requirements
Be curious, an entrepreneur, excellently organized and a great communicator. You will be working directly with dynamic and fast paced product and marketing teams launching every week
Track record of managing and releasing high-quality localized products in collaboration with core product teams
Deep knowledge of the localization process and what it takes to create a truly local experience that delights the Client’s users
Experience in supporting teams, developing relationships, and managing end-to-end for one or more localization programs
Track record of being a self-starter, self-motivated and outcome oriented individual who seeks ownership and accountability
Comfortable with ambiguity in a fluid organization
Skills considered as a good plus
2-4 years in Localization Project Management
