We are a pioneer of hit free-to-play titles available across multiple platforms, including the futuristic first-person shooter Warface, the epic sci-fi MMORPG Skyforge, the fantasy adventure Revelation Online, and mobile juggernauts like Hustle Castle, Bombastic Brothers, and Evolution 2: Battle for Utopia. Conqueror’s Blade, an MMO featuring thrilling combat and cinematic medieval siege battles, is the first game set to launch under the new MY.GAMES banner in 2019.

General overview of the role
Allods Team is looking for an experienced Narrative Designer to craft a compelling, emotional, and fun narrative for an upcoming console/PC project.
Allods Team is one of the largest MY.GAMES studios founded way back in 2006. It currently has more than 170 staff employees.
One of the studio’s strong suits is its partnership with Microsoft, as well as PlayStation and Nintendo. This gives the team access to the latest technology in the games industry, making Allods Team one of the most promising and diversified studios on the market.
The studio’s key projects and franchises today are Warface (PS4, Xbox One versions), Skyforge, and Armored Warfare with an audience of more than 25 million players around the world.
In 2019, the studio began working on several new AAA-projects for the major platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One, mobile) which have not yet been announced.

— Designing an overarching narrative for the game’s world (backstory, current events, key themes)
— Designing hero characters (backstory, goals, key VO lines, feedback on visuals and gameplay abilities) together with Art and Game Design teams;
— Supporting Level Design with feedback about the game's world, key locations, enemy “monster” design, easter eggs, etc.
— Providing ideas about making the game more fun and appealing to a wider audience :)
— Collaborating with local writers and managing/reviewing their work once the project enters full-scale production.
Writing narrative documentation (overall narrative, backstory, character lore, …) and replying to related feedback;
Providing feedback about concept art for characters, locations, and other game elements based on the overall narrative;
Regular calls to sync up the game's vision and narrative with the team.
Experience in the video game industry;
Good understanding of video games;
Experience in worldbuilding and crafting compelling characters “from the scratch”;
Good understanding of modern pop culture and its trends (especially gaming-related);
Writing comics and/or being an avid comic reader is a plus;
Experience in collaboration with Art/Level Design teams is a plus;
Diploma of College Studies in scriptwriting, literature, filmmaking or video games is a plus;
