General overview of the role
We released our first game Lost Ember in November 2019 and are transitioning into a new project right now. We’d love you to join us pretty soon to make sure you get to shape the new project together with us.
Lost Ember was a narrative, single-player exploration adventure that achieved international praise from players and press alike. With our new project we do want to continue developing emotional narrative games, while doing some things a little different than before. Please reach out to us to find out more about our plans for the new project!
Our next game will be a narrative adventure, similar to our previous game Lost Ember but with an even stronger focus on the story. For that we are looking for someone who can help us fine-tune the story and push it to the next level. Ideally you'll be working with us for a couple of weeks or months while the game takes shape and then again once everything came together.
Responsibilities
Fine-tune story beats and characters
Bring new ideas to shape the story
Write backgrounds and dialogue for various characters
Work on storyboards with our designers
Requirements
You like filling worlds with strong characters and interesting backstories
You can tell a personal and gripping story
You have experience working on video games in a comparable position
You speak English or German fluently
