About this role
The current wave of cryptocurrency innovation is centered around DeFi, stablecoins, NFTs, and new use cases that expand their viability in the marketplace. This role is focused on achieving market dominance in these areas through a product approach to community development.
This is an important, high visibility leadership position that is suitable for a seasoned Product Manager who will develop initiatives to support community development through new product offerings and feature development, partnerships, comarketing and events with the goal of driving quality community engagement and protocol utilization, proposals, and community-sourced innovation.
What you will work on:
- Develop a vision, product strategy, feature set and roadmap to launch offerings by leveraging innovative infrastructure based on decentralized money markets and stablecoins on public blockchains
- Work across business, product, engineering, legal and marketing to deeply understand needs, risks and gain agreement on product requirements
- Identify novel, market expansive 0 to 1 opportunities with strategies to launch and see them through from discovery to delivery.
- Support assessment of ROI and viability, desirability and feasibility for DAO improvements and grant applications
- Maintain a stack ranked backlog of initiatives and be able to shift priorities based on community and market needs
- Work to drive traction of various community initiatives and campaigns like a community grants program through partnerships and comarketing with hackathons, conferences, universities, incubators and more
- Build constant contact with the community across all channels including Telegram, Discord and our community forum.
- Deep interest in DeFi, stablecoins, and DAOs, etc.
- More than 4 years of product management or product marketing experience, having shipped features related to any consumer facing services
- Ideally you have previous technical experience with blockchain technology. You are driven by shipping financial services built on crypto assets and public blockchain infrastructure.
