QA Engineer vacancy at Stacker
Mission-Oriented People Wanted
We've got a big mission: we want to bring the power of software to everyone. And it's no secret that we've got a long way to go to get there. That's why we're not looking for consultants, contractors or general mercenaries. If you're passionate about making a change in the world, this might be the place for you.
We're Solving Hard Problems. Really.
We know, we know: basically every tech startup says this. But I think we've got a pretty decent claim.
We're building an app runtime that lets you specify an entire app in a bunch of JSON config and have it run as a real-time single page app.
We're engineering an app that can run on top of our customers' data models, and the data is housed in their own databases.
We're trying to not only create one product that is intuitive and beautiful, but a system to allow our users to build apps that are beautiful by default and are customizable to the finest level.
And that's all before breakfast.
General overview of the role
We're on a mission to let anyone create software, by building a platform to let you instantly create apps from the data you already have. We want to change the way software is built. That's a pretty big task, and we've got some exciting problems.
Come and talk to us about how you can help empower our engineers to create something that Just Works™.
You'll be augmenting and improving our test automation tooling to make it really easy for anyone to test anything.
You'll be helping our engineers work out how to test the difficult things.
You'll be solving our higher-level problem: how to test not just the software we're creating, but the software all our users will be creating too.
Our stack is a React frontend, Python backend. Postgres, Memcached and everything running on docker/k8s.
We are looking for much more than "a tester". We're looking for someone with who can own quality engineering at Stacker. You should relish the challenge of setting up a QA function from scratch as our first QA hire. You should get a kick out of how much of QA you can automate.
If that sounds like you, then apply!
