Responsibilities
Working with our fast paced development team to test our software both manually and with an automation suite
Helping to maintain our industry leading reputation for product development
An opportunity to shape the testing function of our team with input into the technologies we use
Testing the front end of the system manually and helping us to automate this process
Building tooling to help us test our suite of RESTful APIs
Helping to choose our technologies and our approach to development
Working alongside our Data and DevOps teams to support and maintain our systems
Requirements
Minimum 2/3 years professional experience working in a software test role in a commercial software development environment
Someone who wants to help shape our automated testing roadmap and take the lead on getting this into our processes and practices
Experience using any automated testing tools like Selenium / Helium / Beautifulsoup / Locust / Gatling / Faker / Katalon
A keen eye for detail and an ability to manually test software with a critical eye
Skills considered as a good plus
Some experience with OOP - Python, PHP or knowledge of a similar language and a willingness to learn
Experience working with relational databases
An interest in technology, demonstrated through projects or tech related activities
Knowledge of basic Linux command line tools, version control (we use GIT)
An appreciation of UI and UX and their role in modern software
