Sr. Manager, Agile Delivery Lead
General overview of the project(s)
The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for the oversight, management, strategy, development and implementation of the Digital solutions within Corporate Functions portfolio using industry Agile frameworks .
The selected candidate will provide facilitation, analytical skills and project management expertise to successfully implement and support innovative technologies that will deliver value to the business in- line with Digital methodology and controls.
This role requires strong collaboration across the team of other client partners, analysts, user experience, architecture teams and business. The role requires a strong desire for continuous learning to stay current with the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
The ideal candidate will draw upon critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. The person must also be a strong leader who can drive consensus across cross-functional business and Digital team and be an excellent communicator who can articulate technical design tradeoffs.
Deliver complex digital projects using the appropriate agile project management methodology , breaking down barriers to the team, and both planning at a higher level and getting into the detail when required
Lead delivery teams and provide input to functional design and architecture, track and resolve technical issues, and overall coordination of the successful development and delivery of technology solutions
Work with the Digital and business to complete proposals, RFP’s, project scoping, sizing and pricing estimates
Develop relationships with, and ensure the appropriate participation of, key client; Provide day-to-day project contact for the client
Ensure effective, accurate and timely communication across the portfolio; prepare and deliver regular updates on project status, both in written and presentation format, to sponsors, business leaders and stakeholder groups
Ensure solutions are compliant with Pfizer Digital policies and procedures and is responsible for producing all standard Pfizer SDLC documents
Build and structure the project team to ensure maximum performance
Work cross functionally to align strategy, methodology and execution
Manage and control project scope and the change control process
Assure that projects complete according to schedule and within budget

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science or an affiliated field required
7+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in Information Technology
7+ years of experience in project management and implementing complex and cross-functional projects
Strong interpersonal skills and evidence of enabling teamwork in a matrix environment
Strong interpersonal, analytical, innovative & problem solving, managing complexity negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, strategic decision making, and conflict resolution skills
Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations, and run team meetings
Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, technologies, development processes, and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components
Deep knowledge of core agile values, mindset, methods
Familiarity with process maps, BRDs, system diagrams, user experience, application maps, test plans, and user stories.
An “execution mindset” focused on getting things done quickly and simply
Business requirement analysis, Functional requirement analysis, System Design, UAT, Cutover planning
Experience with dashboarding and Analytical Solutions an advantage – Tableau, Tibco Spotfire, Micro Strategy etc.
Knowledge of Digital Process Automations, and integration technologies (API’s and etc.)
Strong knowledge of Agile and/or SAFe to enable coordination with agile team
Experience leading all Agile ceremonies including: sprint planning, review, demo, and stand-up sessions
Strong experience within software engineering specifically DevOps & modern web
Understanding of cloud application architectures-AWS/Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience with HP ALM and Jira
Demonstrated ability to produce positive outcomes working in matrixed teams that span multiple functions
Excellent time management and organizational skills; the ability to manage conflicting priorities and multi-task effectively; and communicate current status and tasks to management.
Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints
Demonstrated experience as a product or delivery manager
Experience working with Business Process Management tools (e.g. Appian)
