Translation Vendor Manager

Recruiting new linguists, from CV’s screening and shortlisting to testing to ensure they meet the company and ISO quality standards
Onboarding linguists: negotiating rates, sending Service Agreements and other onboarding documentation, adding linguists to the live database and our TMS system
Organising training and refresher sessions for linguists
Monitoring and maintaining our linguist database to make sure the information is up to date and accurate at all times.
Promoting newly recruited linguists to the relevant Projects teams
Reporting on vendor recruitment and performance, highlighting shortages in specific languages or services
Monitoring linguists’ performance and highlighting areas of concerns to Strategic Director
Creating regular recruitment plans together with the Strategic Director
Assisting the Projects Team with urgent ad hoc recruitment for time critical assignments
Establishing, building and maintaining professional relationships to ensure linguist retention and engagement
Keeping abreast of industry standards and developments
Attending regular meetings to discuss business needs
